02 - Bring filtered water to a rolling boil in a small saucepan or kettle.
03 - Place cleaned dandelion petals and leaves in a teapot or heatproof container. Pour boiling water over the botanicals and cover immediately.
04 - Allow the tea to steep covered for 8 to 10 minutes to extract full flavor and beneficial compounds.
05 - Strain the infusion through a fine mesh strainer into serving cups, discarding the spent plant material. Add honey or lemon to taste if desired. Serve hot.
