# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • The blender does all the work, making it the fastest fancy looking drink you can pull together when friends drop by unexpectedly
  • Something about straining it transforms grape juice into this silky, sophisticated beverage that feels like it came from a restaurant
02 -
  • The first time I skipped the straining step thinking it would be fine, and the texture was noticeably pulpy in a way that felt unfinished
  • Letting it sit in the refrigerator for a few hours actually transforms the flavor, making it taste more rounded and less like fresh juice
03 -
  • If your grapes are not very sweet, blend a tiny pinch of salt with everything else to enhance the natural fruit flavor
  • Room temperature grapes blend more easily than cold ones, so let them sit out for ten minutes before starting
